I live in a world where I have to choose between several sets of murderers and victims. In choosing murderers, I sometimes end up choosing murderer-cum-victims. Similarly with victims, I sometimes end up choosing victims-cum-deserving. It is very frustrating for a person like me who calls for tolerance in almost everything. But I do choose like others based on my preferences, prejudice and opinions. Pretty normal, I guess.
Never in my life I thought of seeing an era, current era, that craves for so much blood. Every day, there is a blood vs blood war. That blood, which was usually meant to keep a man alive, is now the biggest enemy of a man. The blood hound is never ending and hate mongers are out there to suck up the blood. Killing and murder has become a lifeline for many people. Every drop of blood satisfies the frustrating craving of the animals out there. The human animals!
How blood vs blood has increased at an alarming rate? Because we have a predefined set of people whose fate is now associated with blood and murder. Their only end is murder, slaughter and blood. More blood. No amount of blood that runs in their flesh seems enough to satisfy the human animals. We somehow, somewhere, unconsciously have developed murder/blood association with a particular set of people which we deem as deserving candidates of blood, terrorization and murder.
Who has helped flourish this idea over the time? Certain dirty political, religious and power influence. Why have I mentioned this? Because I do not believe in generalizing any particular nation for being a blood hound. There are always some dirty hands out there, always.
Certain set of people have certain prejudice towards another certain set of people. In their rage and wrath for the other group, the certain prejudiced group now prefer eradicating the entire other group by conducting mass murder, genocide, holocaust or blatant atrocity (used different words to help identify the heinous crime in an absolute way). This eradication is being done in the name or religion, race, ethnicity, terrorism and freedom. This outrageous abolition now includes the casual murders as well. The value of blood, the human life was never this inexpensive ever!
Recent annihilation of human life currently includes:
- Killing of masses to eradicate terrorism (including the civilian deaths as collateral damage)
- Religious conflict between Shia and Sunni (I refrain from calling them Muslims)
- Alarming rage against Ahmadis and killings
- Obnoxious hate for homosexuals (I completely disagree at killing them just because they are doing something which most religions do not allow. Remember, no religion allows killing as well)
- Muslim prejudice against Jews and killing them because ‘Israel’ is inflicting bloody war over Palestine (Stop generalizing)
- Muslim prejudice against Christians and Hindus, using blasphemy laws to punish the Christians (Hence, blood)
Forgive me if I have overlooked any particular sect, religion or group of people.
Today, in the morning paper, I read Israeli’s Prime Minister saying:
“We will continue strikes on Gaza as long as necessary”

When I first looked at the images of sheer brutality and barbarism, the murder of innocent children, my first perception towards the incident was:
They are children only. Innocent and unaware of their racial, ethnic, religious or political affiliation. They are immature to understand freedom or religion critically. They are just kids. Nothing more, nothing less.
These children were not really responsible for the injured or killed on the other side. They might not even know the depth of their freedom cause or the elements involved in the freedom movement. They were young kids, ready to explore life, even in a terrorized environment. But they ultimately found, death. Blood.
It is like their fate has already been decided. Their existence has been associated with blood/murder forever. Their freedom, religion, race, existence, everything, every possible thing has been linked with murder, blood and more blood.
Not justifying what happened with the Israeli injured and dead people, I chose kids. I chose the innocent soul because they were beautiful, mellow and so pure. So, so pure!

This was done in the name of terrorism. Eradicating terrorism with casual murders.
How exactly those kids in their homes were terrorizing or threatening any country or even the shameless soldier, let alone America? How would you justify that soldier in committing this horrendous crime? There is only one explanation to it. And that is:

I chose kids again. I chose the innocent and purest soul of all. I at the same time do not justify the terrorist activities but a part of me is not ready to accept the blatant murder of these peaceful and beautiful souls.
I will not justify the generalized hate for Jews among the Muslims and I will certainly not justify the heinous crime demeanour towards these beautiful children by the Jews or Christians.
No, I will not associate blood, murder and atrocities with any particular religion, ethnicity, race or origin.
I speak for the souls with ethnicity and religion as a secondary notion. I speak for the souls who would have done wonders with their innocent smiles and giggles.
I speak for humanity, only.
the problems is that the policy makers behind such incidents do not speak that way, do not think in the way. this world has become such a place where to remain in power and to remain acceptable one makes “popular” decisions and that is the point where mistakes start to take place.
